Ed in studioEdward Klein is well suited to the challenging work involved in lutherie. After graduating with a BaSc in mechanical engineering at the University of Windsor, a relatively short time was spent working in industry as a professional engineer.  Becoming increasingly aware of an interest in the creative arts, along with a passion for building, Ed enrolled in the three year program at Sheridan College School of Crafts and Design in Oakville.  This marked a change in career, beginning with a focus on studio furniture and eventually leading into guitars.  Over the years with this foundation Ed has produced and exhibited a body of work that illustrates originality and craftsmanship. Every effort is given to achieve fashioning an acoustically superb and visually compelling instrument that is a pleasure to play.
